Andrew Hume

Professional career
Andrew graduated from the University of Cape Town where he was awarded several prizes and class medals,including the Juta Law Prize and the Judge Schock Prize for the best intermediate and final year LLB student. He was admitted as an attorney in 1998, appointed as an associate at Brink Cohen Le Roux Inc. in 1999 and as a director of that firm in 2002. Andrew joined Citigroup in November 2005 as South Africa Country Counsel and Africa Division Counsel. He returned to private practice in May 2009 when he established Falcon and Hume Inc.

Heather Irvine

Professional career
Heather is an African antitrust expert, with extensive experience with both complex mergers and competition law complaint investigations. She was admitted as an attorney in 2002, after working as a researcher for Justice Albie Sachs at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of South Africa and completing articles with Brink Cohen Le Roux Inc. Heather joined Deneys Reitz Inc (now known as Norton Rose Fulbright) in 2003 where she was ultimately appointed head of the African Competition Law team. Heather joined Falcon & Hume Inc in May 2016. She is the African Regional Forum Liaison Officer for the Antitrust Committee of the International Bar Association and an external examiner for the University of the Witwatersrand’s Competition law Undergraduate and Masters programmes.

Kerri Wilson

Professional career
Kerri was admitted as an attorney in 2009 after which she was appointed as an associate at Webber Wentzel. She joined the international law firm Baker & McKenzie in 2014, returning to Webber Wentzel in 2015 when she was appointed partner. Kerri joined Falcon & Hume Inc in November 2018. She specialises in all aspects of general and commercial dispute resolution, with a speciality in insolvency law and business rescue. Kerri is a member of SARIPA – the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association and INSOL – International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals. She has advised clients in the banking, mining, financial services and construction sectors. She also has extensive skills in construction and engineering disputes.
